Makai's SMK-80 Soprano Ukulele has a laminate Simi-maple top, back and sides (gloss finish)and has geared tuners.. Each one is different with some very unique grain patterns. This Soprano has mellow tone but lots of projection. All Makai Ukuleles come set up with Aquila strings for maximum Aloha tone. Soprano Ukuleles are perfect for someone not wanting the larger sized uke bodies!
